Gracie Jessop has been singin’ and swingin’ since childhood. Soon after moving from cold and cloudy Berlin, Germany to hot and sunny Arizona, she began singing with renowned horn player, Glen Gross. Before long, they formed a versatile and tight jazz sextet that will deliver a positive and heart-warming musical experience featuring Bebop, standards, Bossa Nova and Rhythm and Blues.

Trumpeter Glen Gross has been playing jazz for the last 30 years in Albuquerque, Monterey, Los Angeles, and Tucson. Glen spent time teaching trumpet in Haiti and played principal trumpet in Orchestre Philharmonic de Sainte Trinte in Cange, Haiti. Glen is a frequent soloist at various Tucson Jazz Venues, including the Old Pueblo Grille, La Encantada Shopping Center, Café Passé, and the Oro Valley Jazz Festival. He has played both lead and solo trumpet with Desert Swing, the Memories band and Big Band Sounds. Glen has also appeared at the Sydney Conservatory with the University of Arizona Trumpet Ensemble under the direction of Ed Reid and Jeff Haskell, and has toured China with the University of Arizona Studio Jazz Band. Glen’s experience includes playing trumpet on a cruise ship and working as a racetrack bugler for Santa Fe Racing, Inc. and the New Mexico State Fair. He has performed with Bo Diddley, John Handy, and Bobby Shew.
